OUR VISION BE. GROW. GO.

You may be asking yourself, “What do these three words mean?”.

At New Vision Community Church (NVCC), these 3 little words give you our purpose in a nutshell. We are a church that wants to BE more like Jesus each day, we want to GROW in His love—love for God and love for each other, and we want to GO and share the hope that Jesus offers every child, every teenager, and every adult.

 

This is our heart and focus.

We are a community of all ages and nationalities with a “Latino” flair. Many of us speak both Spanish and English which is why we offer Sunday services in both languages.  Many visitors have commented that they can "feel" God's presence at NVCC and we love to hear this because we know that God is the only one who can truly meet our needs.  

Declaration of Faith: Our Beliefs


1) We believe that the Bible is the verbal, inspired word of God, the revelation of God to
man. We believe that the Word of God is inerrant (does not contain errors) and is totally
reliable and accurate. [2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 19-21]

2) We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father,
Son and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.
[Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19]

3) We believe that man was created by God in his image and likeness. Man is a created
being with the moral attributes of God. [Genesis 1:26]

4) We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin
birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension
to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

5) We believe that God has provided man with the means of salvation since man sinned in the
garden of Eden and therefore needs reconciliation with God. We believe that when man
repents, justification, regeneration, and sanctification take place in his life. Luke 19:10, 2

6) We believe that the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, dwells in every believer
immediately after he places his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that God provides, through the
Holy Spirit, the power to live the Christian life. [Romans 5:5, Romans 8:1-9, Galatians 5:16-25]

7) We believe that there is a heaven that is the dwelling place of God and that the believer is
promised to dwell in heaven. [John 14: 2-3]

8) We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Christ is the head.
[1 Corinthians 12:12]
